Klimt, the KHM and the MuseumsQuartier
Vienna’s art scene centers around some of Europe’s most significant museums and collections, from Gustav Klimt’s masterpieces to imperial art treasures. The museum opens daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with extended hours on Wednesdays until 9 pm.

MuseumsQuartier combines the Leopold Museum, MUMOK (modern art), and Kunsthalle Wien, among others. Entry fees vary, but combination tickets are available. The area also has cafes and shops for breaks between visits. Public transport access is convenient via U2 (Museumsquartier station) and several tram lines.
