Feel all the greatness of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in one day! From Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest. In one day you will be able to feel the atmosphere of three capitals of different countries: Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia. Can you imagine that it used to be one state? That's what our trip will be about! Vienna is the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At the beginning of our journey, I will tell the story of Vienna and how the Empire was born. Bratislava is a cozy medieval city with a unique Slovak flavor. This city was the coronation place of the Hungarian Kingdom. We'll stop in the city center for coffee and a traditional Slovak dessert. Budapest is a majestic city with amazing buildings built during the heyday of the capital of Hungary. Once called the “Queen of the Danube,” Budapest consists of two parts, Buda and Pest. Our car-walking tour will affect both parts of this city. In Budapest, I will show a few Hungarian restaurants with local cuisine.

We had a really good experience at this restaurant. The traditional fried steak was absolutely delicious and a highlight of this meal. The vegetable soup as a starter was tasty and flavorful, with a well-balanced taste rather than a single strong vegetable flavor — we really enjoyed it. A special thanks to Bobur, who took care of our table. The service was excellent and friendly throughout our dinner. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We visited Restaurant Vienne/OnurChefs two days in a row. On the first night, we had the Wiener Schnitzel and Rostbraten. The schnitzel was perfectly crispy, light, and not greasy at all. The rostbraten was tender with a deep, rich sauce that was full of flavor. We came back the next day and tried the Gulasch and schnitzel again, this time with a fresh salad. The gulasch was incredible—slow-cooked, flavorful, and comforting without being too heavy. Everything we tried was consistently excellent. You can really tell the kitchen knows what it’s doing—nothing felt average or rushed. Service was friendly and smooth, and the atmosphere made it easy to enjoy the meal. If you’re in Vienna and want authentic food done properly, this place is absolutely worth it.

First time in Vienna staying at an hotel nearby and looking for a restaurant specializing in local cuisine. Just around the corner I saw Restaurant Vienne. I guess it was pure intuition but I thought this is it. A charming waiter Bobur welcomed me and my wife in a very special way that increased my level of comfort. We tried the specialty of the restaurant which was Goulash and Veal Schnitzel. Both dishes were sublime and above my expectations even though I am a former restaurateur. As I know the best part of the meal is what to have for dessert. Say no more. We tried their homemade Apple Strudel. Guess what. It was FABULOUS. A couple of local “snaps” (sorry if I misspelled) to irrigate such delicious dessert and back on the road. Needless to say the service was above par and the ambiance was not less than great. Highly recommended the food the team and above all Bobur for his attention and his ability to make our visit memorable. Thank you. SM

Last stop before we left Vienna, and it definitely did not disappoint. The place had real charm, from the leather sofas to the well dressed waiters and the art on the wall…we felt in Vienna. The service - professional & personal - was of the highest standard. Then the food - it’s famous for its veal schnitzel and apple strudel so I had both. The schnitzel was the best I have hard in as long as I can remember! I had it with potato salad, which was a little watery for my taste, but also good. Hubby has the beef soup - also excellent. We both loved the strudel, with delicious vanilla sauce (a more watery custard!). We finished with 2 cocktails. Price was around €60pp All in all a great way to end this trip and i definitely recommend. Note: booking maybe required at weekends - there was a queue as we left - but we had no issue at 2pm getting a table.
