Feel all the greatness of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in one day! From Vienna to Bratislava and Budapest. In one day you will be able to feel the atmosphere of three capitals of different countries: Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia. Can you imagine that it used to be one state? That's what our trip will be about! Vienna is the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At the beginning of our journey, I will tell the story of Vienna and how the Empire was born. Bratislava is a cozy medieval city with a unique Slovak flavor. This city was the coronation place of the Hungarian Kingdom. We'll stop in the city center for coffee and a traditional Slovak dessert. Budapest is a majestic city with amazing buildings built during the heyday of the capital of Hungary. Once called the “Queen of the Danube,” Budapest consists of two parts, Buda and Pest. Our car-walking tour will affect both parts of this city. In Budapest, I will show a few Hungarian restaurants with local cuisine.

Authentic Stories from Diners
Amazing service. Visited for dinner before a ballet the Opera house and was surprised with sachertorte for my birthday. A wonderful experience, service and location. Highly recommend.
Restaurant Rote, Vienna, Austria. At the historic Hotel Sacher. Rote is more about classic Viennese elegance than culinary experimentation. The atmosphere is the main attraction, with its deep red interiors, chandeliers, piano music, and views near the Vienna Opera. The menu focuses on Austrian staples such as Schnitzel and other traditional dishes. While the food is generally very good, the experience leans toward heritage, ambiance, and service rather than pushing creative boundaries. Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 3.5/5 Average PPP € 100
I recently experienced the most magical moment of my life—my engagement—at the Hotel Sacher restaurant. Within Sacher’s unique and historic ambiance, everything was a true fairytale. The enchanting atmosphere, the extraordinary quality of the cuisine, and the magnificent floral arrangements at our table were beyond compare. I loved the flowers so much that I even brought them all the way back to Türkiye with me as a cherished keepsake. What truly made the evening flawless was the exceptional professionalism and warmth of the entire staff. The way the whole team coordinated my fiancé’s surprise with such grace and precision moved us deeply. Words feel insufficient to express how wonderful everything was. Thank you for crowning our most precious memory with the legendary elegance of Sacher!
We visited Hotel Sacher and specifically the Rote Bar three days ago. The staff there, and throughout the entire hotel, were exceptionally polite and welcoming! The ambiance of the Rote Bar is simply fantastic. Despite a 'booking error' on our part, they kindly allowed us to stay and enjoy our coffee and Sachertorte in that beautiful setting. Regarding their communication, their professionalism was impressive, they replied instantly to my emails about our potential delay and were very accommodating in pushing our reservation back by half an hour to be safe. Overall, our experience at the hotel was absolutely flawless! I hope we can visit again soon!
I booked a reservation at Restaurant Rote Bar and let them know we would be celebrating our anniversary together with our 7 year old. They arranged everything beautifully. We had a lovely banquet table by the window and they had a colouring book and crayons ready for him. When they gave us a complementary amuse bouche, they had a small bowl of popcorn for him. His schnitzel arrived with a bowl of fries (which didn’t seem to be a choice on the menu so very grateful they thought to bring him that as a side). I had the beef filet and braised cheek, a perfectly done dish. My husband enjoyed his elevated tafelspitz too. For dessert they presented us this lovely greeting alongside a plate of fruit and bonbons. We also enjoyed the signature Sacher torte. All in all the perfect anniversary dinner for our little party of 3! Highly recommend this place for those looking to celebrate a special moment along with their little loved ones.
