The beef was not bad, but there was a slight off smell, so I probably wouldn’t order it again. It wasn’t terrible at all, but the overall experience was not for me. The American-style diner setup with high chairs also isn’t really my kind of place.

The steak here was simply perfection. The beef was tender, juicy and seasoned well and the smashed potatoes and spinach were top class with a balance of flavours so perfect. Top 3 best beef I’ve ever had. Friendly and welcoming service and a lively atmosphere. 9.5/10. The seasoning was quite strong.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mama & der Bulle, and we especially want to mention our waiter, Zoltan (whose name I hope to be spelling correctly), who made the evening truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely professional. Zoltan was not only friendly and efficient, but also extremely knowledgeable and careful when it came to gluten and possible cross-contamination, which we appreciated so much. It is rare to feel that level of confidence and reassurance when ordering gluten-free food, and he handled everything with real care. My friend and I both ordered cheeseburgers with gluten-free buns, and they were honestly incredible. The quality of the meat, the cooking point, the flavour, the texture of the gluten-free bread –everything was excellent. You could tell that attention had been paid to every detail, and nothing felt like a “lesser” gluten-free version of the dish. The whole atmosphere was also great: the music, the energy of the restaurant, the quality of the food, and above all the impeccable service made it a perfect dinner. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended, especially for anyone looking for a great burger in Vienna with thoughtful gluten-free options and outstanding service.

The steak was absolutely delicious, done to perfection 👌. Melting in the mouth. Burger 🍔 was great too, juicy ! And to top it off moist fudgy molten lava dessert. Service was excellent ! Will definitely visit again when in Vienna!

A huge place with basement seatings but I would prefer ground floor where u can do people watch from the inside. Paid about Euro 98 for 2 pax overall.
