Our car-walking tour will affect both parts of this city. In Budapest, I will show a few Hungarian restaurants with local cuisine.

Had a lovely dinner here! Of course we had to get Wiener Schnitzel when in Vienna! We had it with berry compote, and it tasted absolutely amazing. The portions are really big as well. It has a great atmosphere, as it is located in a small square. The restaurant was quite busy and there was a line, but our waiter, Sergiu, was still amazing and kind, and he made sure we did not feel rushed. So we could really enjoy our meal!
Lugeck turned out to be a pleasant surprise for us. Although it's a very touristy restaurant, which sometimes affects the quality of the dishes, all the dishes we ordered were very good. The appetizers were very tasty, and the steaks were cooked to order, medium-rare. The meat was dry-aged, which always gives it a better flavor. The waitstaff was very good, and the prices were adequate for the location and quality.
A relatively large portion of veal schnitzel – in my opinion, it can easily be shared by two people. The schnitzel was served with an excellent potato salad! It also came with jam on the side; I personally didn’t like with the combination, but some people enjoy it. The schnitzel itself was tasty, although we generally prefer chicken schnitzel ☺️ Overall, the atmosphere was good and the service was also good. The downside: in our opinion, it was too expensive for a schnitzel dish.
Very overrated place. The schnitzel was average tasting and also the porsions are small. Potatoe salad comes with the schnitzel but it is also small portion and it is overly sweet and not as good as can be. Bread and butter which was overpriced didn’t taste good , the bread was stale lacked flavor. Coffee was warm and not hot , the dessert strudel was our worst experience here, it only tasted like eggs, I do not recommend this place because it is very overpriced and you don’t get what you pay for.
Nice upscale restaurant for traditional Austrian food, but elevated. Pretty interiors and service was great. Shared the veal schnitzel, green beans, potato salad, and beet salad. The beet salad was incredible great flavors. The schnitzel was my favorite I have had and the jam sauce went so well we kept asking for more! Also the green beans were surprisingly great with little pieces of bacon in them.
