Budapest is a majestic city with amazing buildings built during the heyday of the capital of Hungary. Once called the “Queen of the Danube,” Budapest consists of two parts, Buda and Pest. Our car-walking tour will affect both parts of this city. In Budapest, I will show a few Hungarian restaurants with local cuisine.

We tried visiting without a reservation on our first night at around 9pm, but there were no available tables. We made a reservation for the following day, and it was absolutely worth it. Both traditional dishes we ordered were exceptionally well executed. The Tafelspitz was tender, while the veal schnitzel was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside, light, and not greasy at all. Even the fries were good. A reservation is highly recommended, as the restaurant is clearly very popular.
We had the privilege of dining at Huth Gastwirtschaft on a Wednesday night. We had made a reservation online, which I would recommend as this place gets very busy. This place is now my favorite in all of Vienna. My husband and I ordered the soup for two to share, as it was lovely on such a rainy and windy day. Then we got our meals of Viennese meatballs and the Karntner Kasnudeln. They were both simply amazing! For dessert we got the Kaiserschmarrn and cremeschnitte to share. They were both just lovely. The presentation of our food was also wonderful. Our waiter also did a wonderful job, all of the staff were very nice. If we are ever back in Vienna we will be back!
Very good quality Austrian food, fresh meat and decent sides. Prices are basically worth it, however it's a no-go in my opinion, for a restaurant in that price category to charge extra for ketchup and mayonnaise. Outdoor seating available. Staff is friendly.
Wiener schnitzel was not special or very good. The meat inside was like a boiled and dry. The outside cover was crispy but the quality of the oil that they cooked was not good enough, so I had a bad stomach. I was disappointed about it. Potato salad was fine. Also the beer was tasty too. Atmosphere was nice, also the service was quick and good. I would not go again even though it is close to my hotel.
Hi Guys, We had a fantastic journey in Wien. Unfortunately, it was short…. We checked the google map what’s the best OR popular restaurant in Wien… so we found the Huth Gastwirtschaft restaurant. We were lucky 🍀. It was the best choice ever! We ate traditional Austrian food. 🇦🇹 We loved it and definitely We will come back. The food was gorgeous, the staff is great and professional. If You are in the capital city just pop in! ✅ You will love it ❤️ 🃏
